Paint markers are commonly used to obtain the best and the sharpest looking signatures on comic books and other collectibles.  Unlike Sharpies® and other permanent markers, paint markers give a solid, opaque signature that stands out on comic covers, plastic collectibles and glossy surfaces.  Oil-based paint markers are highly recommended versus water-based paint markers.  Humidity and moisture may degrade the signature over time.  

For an extra shiny, metallic mirror finish, Molotow® Liquid Chrome paint markers are the best choice.  Available in 1mm, 2mm and 4mm.
